It was reported that during the reporting period, based on appeals, billions of soums were returned for the benefit of citizens, jobs were restored, alimony payments were made, and measures were taken against offenders.
Based on appeals received by the Ombudsman, assistance was provided in collecting over 9 billion 327 million soums for the benefit of citizens. Of this, over 2 billion 162 million soums were related to wages and labor relations payments.
During the reporting period, appeals from 25 citizens regarding job reinstatement or employment were resolved positively. Also, in 11 cases, illegal actions of employers towards employees were eliminated.
Over 577 million soums in alimony were secured for the support of minor children of women, and administrative detention penalties were imposed on 3 individuals who evaded alimony payments.
The Ombudsman also assisted in collecting over 3.6 billion soums in compensation due to citizens for land plots taken for state and public needs.
As a result of studying appeals, 33 responsible officials who violated human rights were held to disciplinary or administrative accountability.
It was also reported that the Ombudsman and public groups conducted 728 monitoring visits to places where persons with limited freedom of movement are held.
