On the evening of November 28, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation led by the Minister of Cabinet Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, Muhammad bin Abdullah Al Gargawi.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Minister conveyed the warm greetings and best wishes of the President of the UAE, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the country's Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to the head of state.
The parties discussed issues of further strengthening Uzbekistan-UAE friendship and strategic partnership, as well as implementing the agreements reached during the high-level visit to the UAE in January of this year.
It was noted with great satisfaction that in recent years, more than 300 initiatives have been implemented in over 40 areas with the UAE government, including important programs such as the "Government Accelerator," "One Million Coders," and "Young Leaders."
The importance of large-scale implementation of the new five-year program being adopted on mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of improving public administration efficiency was emphasized.
Special attention was paid to cooperation plans for reducing bureaucracy, implementing the UAE's advanced experience in training 5 million prompt engineers in the field of artificial intelligence, and launching the "Young Generation" and "Book Challenge" projects.
An agreement was also reached to thoroughly prepare for future high-level events.
At the end of the meeting, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Minister Muhammad Al Gargawi familiarized themselves with an exhibition dedicated to the history of Uzbekistan-UAE relations.
