Cristiano Ronaldo sent each of his Portugal teammates a luxurious watch specially made by the brand "Jacob & Co." to celebrate the team's victory in the Nations League.
According to "Sports Casting," the value of each watch ranges from $280,000 to $400,000.
According to journalist Nuno Luz, Ronaldo personally commissioned these unique gifts from his close friend—the famous watchmaker Jacob Arabo. The watches are personalized with the footballers' names and were delivered ahead of the WC-2026 qualifier match against Armenia.
Ronaldo also sent a similar watch to the family of Diogo Jota, who died in a tragic car accident, in his memory. Jota had played in the squad that defeated Spain in the Nations League final with Portugal just a month before his death.
Ronaldo, who faced criticism for not attending the funeral, later explained his decision in an interview with Piers Morgan, stating that he did not want to divert attention from the deceased's family.
