According to the President's new decree, the era when those who caused damage to nature could get away with just a fine is over. Environmental offenses will now be strictly monitored.

Within the framework of the new system, an "Ecopolice" equipped with special means and body cameras will be established. They will directly combat poaching, illegal tree cutting, and other environmental crimes.

At the same time, industrial enterprises will be required to install air monitoring stations on their territories — otherwise, fines will be increased by up to 5 times.

Furthermore, starting from 2026, any privileges and exemptions from payment for causing damage to nature will be abolished.

It is emphasized that the new stage of the fight against environmental crime is aimed at creating a healthy environment in the country and protecting the health of the population.
