Based on the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan's Resolution No. PQ-134 dated April 2, 2025, a one-time financial assistance of 1 million soums is being delivered to needy families from the population's needy stratum for the 2025/2026 heating season.
To ensure the execution of this task, a list of over 1 million 162 thousand needy families was formed.
Funds amounting to 1.2 trillion soums were fully financed to the commercial bank for the payment of the one-time financial assistance.
On October 30, the full amount was transferred to the population who have plastic cards. For those without bank plastic cards, funds are being paid to families in cash by "mobile cash desks".
During the past period, 1.7 million applications received for compensation payments were reviewed, and compensation payments totaling 21.1 billion soums were made to 362 thousand families who consumed above the baseline norm.
For reference, last year 444 thousand families applied to receive compensation, of which 23.3 billion soums (only for the November-February heating period) in compensation payments were made to 208 thousand of them.
