US President Donald Trump may soon review or even eliminate the tariffs imposed on coffee imports from Brazil. Zamon.uz reported on this.

This issue will be discussed at a meeting taking place in Washington on Friday. It will be attended by Brazil's Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

According to sources, the initiative to eliminate the tariffs is expected to be put forward by Rubio himself. The reason is that President Trump has demanded "swift measures" to lower the price of coffee in the domestic market.

Diplomatic circles note that this decision could strengthen trade relations between the two countries and lead to a noticeable decrease in the price of coffee in the US market.
