In the letter, Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed his gratitude to Sadyr Japarov for his congratulatory message sent on the occasion of the opening of the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference in Samarkand and for Kyrgyzstan sending a high-level delegation to this event link.
"Your insightful words that this international forum, being held outside the UNESCO Headquarters for the first time in the last forty years in the ancient city of Samarkand, is a common success for the Central Asian region and that Uzbekistan's international prestige is growing are extremely valuable to us.
I also fully support your views that the important initiatives put forward at the Conference and the decisions to be adopted will open new horizons for global cooperation in the fields of education, science, and culture and further strengthen the atmosphere of mutual friendship. I am confident that the ever-strengthening ties of genuine brotherhood between us and our future high-level meetings will elevate our strategic partnership to a new level," the letter states.
