Reports have spread on social networks about a 7-year-old child being hit and dragged by a Cobalt in the Parkent district of the Tashkent region, resulting in the child's death. The Regional DIA Department of Internal Affairs issued an official statement regarding the incident. 

According to it, the incident occurred on October 18 at approximately 11:00 AM on a road in the territory of the Parkent district of the Tashkent region. A Cobalt car, driven by Kh.D. (born in 1986), hit Sh.M. (born in 2016), who was running across a pedestrian crossing. As a result, the pedestrian sustained bodily injuries and was admitted to the district central hospital. It is reported that his condition is now good and he is receiving treatment. 

"The information being circulated on some social networks about the child's death is completely baseless and does not correspond to reality," it was further added. 

This incident also mentions K.Kh., the driver of a Damas brand car, as a participant. 

Regarding the incident, pre-investigation actions are being carried out by responsible employees of the Parkent district DIA.
