Trump said resolving the Ukraine issue is more difficult than the Gaza conflict.

The US president admitted that he thought stopping the war in Ukraine would be easy, but the real situation is turning out differently.

On October 7, before his meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, US President Donald Trump made a statement at a press conference, stating that the war in Ukraine is more complex than the Gaza conflict in the Middle East.

"I thought resolving this conflict would be easy. Because my relations with Putin himself were good. But this situation has become a real mess," said Trump.

He also announced that he plans to meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping in South Korea in the coming days and blamed the Democratic Party for the disruptions in the work of the US government.

Furthermore, Trump's recent statements indicate a shift in his neutral stance towards Ukraine. On October 6, he stated that a decision had been made regarding the provision of Tomahawk cruise missiles to Ukraine. Russia, however, indicated that this aid cannot change the course of the war.
