Iran has announced its condition for restoring the movement of commercial vessels through the Strait of Hormuz. This was stated by General Reza Talainik, a representative of the country's Ministry of Defense. Zamon.uz reported this.

According to him, the unhindered movement of the commercial fleet through the Strait of Hormuz will be restored after the end of the conflict in the region only if it does not pose a threat to Iran's security.

The official representative emphasized that the final decision on the passage of international commercial vessels through the strait will be made taking into account the security situation in the region and Iran's interests.

Earlier, it was reported that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, during negotiations held in Islamabad on April 25–26, conveyed a proposal to the US side through Pakistani intermediaries regarding the opening of the strait and ending the war.
