Reports have spread on social networks about a car hitting a pedestrian in Samarkand city and fleeing the scene. The Samarkand Regional DIA PDMS officially commented.
According to it, reports were confirmed that in the pedestrian crossing area of the A-378 highway passing through the territory of Samarkand city, the driver of a vehicle identified as a "Tracker-2" hit a pedestrian crossing at the crosswalk and left the scene.
According to information provided by officials, the driver and the vehicle were quickly found, legal measures were taken against him, and the car was placed in a fines parking area.
The report states, "We ask all drivers to be attentive to pedestrians and to strictly observe traffic rules."
