On September 16 of this year, a 23-year-old Uzbek worker died at a construction site in St. Petersburg, Russia. This was reported by the press service of the North-Western Interregional Labor Inspectorate of Russia.

According to the report, while working on construction "scaffolding" during the construction of a building for the Judicial Department under the Supreme Court of Russia on Dobrolyubov Avenue, a 23-year-old Uzbek worker fell from a height of 15 meters, dying at the scene. It was found that there were no formal employment documents between the deceased worker and the construction company.

According to the words of the deputy head of the North-Western Interregional Labor Inspectorate, Olga Kazanskaya, the probable causes of the incident were the worker's failure to use personal protective equipment, the absence of collective protective equipment, and the poor organization of high-altitude work.
