On the evening of September 15, the famous film and television operator and director Batir Joldasovich Bazarboyev passed away at the age of 70. His daughter, Shahnaza Joldasova, announced this news on her social media page.
The deceased was known for his long-standing work in the film industries of Uzbekistan and Russia and was the author of numerous documentary and popular science films. He won a place in the hearts of viewers through films such as "The Sea Asks for Water," "Girls of the Aral," and "The Year of the Dragon."
Batir Bazarboyev was not only a representative of the arts but was also active in the scientific field, teaching thousands of students as a professor at the Tashkent University of Information Technologies.
We note that the deceased was also a member of the Russian Cinematographers' Union and the Guild of Cinema Operators.
