The number of people killed in the road traffic incident that occurred in Angren on September 7 has reached 11. The truck driver lost control and collided with several vehicles.
According to the report from the Fergana regional government, this fatal traffic accident occurred when a Shacman-branded truck, which was transporting cement, lost control at a railway crossing. As a result of the collision, two trucks and five passenger cars were damaged.
As a result of the incident, 11 people were killed, and several citizens sustained injuries of varying degrees. Medical assistance is being provided to the injured at the hospital.
The regional governor has instructed to provide material and psychological assistance to the families of the deceased and injured. Furthermore, relevant tasks were assigned to strengthen requirements for freight transport activities, analyze transport infrastructure, and study foreign best practices.
