According to information from the prosecutor's office in the Polish city of Lublin, a drone crashed in the village of Polatycze near the Belarusian border. The incident occurred near a border checkpoint, and no one was injured.
Cyrillic writing was found at the crash site of the drone. Police are currently questioning witnesses and reviewing footage from surveillance cameras.
This is not the first such case observed recently—a similar incident was recorded in eastern Poland on September 6.
Earlier, in August, a drone crashed in a cornfield, damaging the crop and breaking house windows.
According to the prosecutor's office, it is suspected that in all cases the drones entered from Belarusian territory.
