Today, on September 8, FIFA President Gianni Infantino has officially arrived in Uzbekistan.
The guest was welcomed at Tashkent International Airport by the Minister of Sports Adkham Ikramov, the Vice President of the Olympic Council of Asia Otabek Umarov, the First Vice President of the UFA Ravshan Irmatov, and other officials.
Infantino is expected to watch the final match of the "FIFA Nations Cup 2025" taking place today from the stadium. The national teams of Uzbekistan and Iran will take to the field for the final.
Within the framework of this visit, discussions on the development of Uzbek football with the FIFA leadership are also planned.
