A 27-year-old citizen died before reaching the hospital in Kashkadarya region. The regional Health Department officially reported this.
It was reported that the patient, a citizen named O.S. born on May 12, 1998, was treated in the Rehabilitation Department of the Yakkabag District Medical Association on August 9-11, 2025. He had complained of previous bleeding, body rashes, and general weakness.
Based on tests and consultations conducted by doctors, he was diagnosed with idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura. Considering the severity of the patient's condition, he was referred to the hematology department of the regional multidisciplinary medical center.
However, on August 11, the patient was taken home by his relatives instead of being taken to the regional hospital. That same day in the evening, as his condition worsened, the patient again applied to the Yakkabag District Medical Association and received necessary medical assistance.
A day later, in the early morning of August 12, the patient was again taken to the regional hospital at his own request and on the initiative of his relatives. Unfortunately, he passed away before reaching the hospital.
According to official information, the deceased had been under "D" supervision for several years. Currently, law enforcement agencies are conducting an investigation regarding the incident.
We recall that it was previously reported that a 9-year-old child died during a nose surgery at a private clinic in Tashkent.
