O.A., born in 1991, was brought to the police department on August 14 due to a family dispute and was sent home after a preventive conversation. Two days later, the citizen's health deteriorated and he sought medical treatment at a hospital.
In connection with this incident, the Namangan City Prosecutor's Office initiated a criminal case under Article 104 (intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm) of the Criminal Code.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that it had taken the incident under special control and that a special working group, led by the leadership, had been sent to Namangan. It was emphasized that, based on the results of the investigation, legal measures would be taken against the guilty employees.
