On Tuesday, August 28, two road traffic accidents related to human fatalities occurred in the Kamchik Pass. This was reported by the Department of Internal Affairs of Namangan region.
It was noted that on the Vodi-Tashkent route, a driver operating a Lacetti car, unable to ensure traffic safety, collided with a truck moving in the same direction, causing a traffic accident.
As a result of this, a passenger in the Lacetti died from severe bodily injuries. A second passenger was hospitalized.
In the same area, at approximately 08:39, a driver operating a Cobalt, also unable to ensure traffic safety, lost control and collided with the rear part of a truck moving on the right side of the road in the same direction, and then with another truck also moving on the right side of the road.
As a result of the incident, two passengers in the Cobalt died from severe bodily injuries.
Regarding both cases, a criminal case has been initiated by the Pop District Department of Internal Affairs under Part 2 of Article 266 of the Criminal Code.
