Oil supplies via the "Druzhba" pipeline from Russia to Europe have been resumed. This was announced late on August 19 by Hungary and Slovakia.
According to reports, the pipeline's operations were halted after the Ukrainian army struck the "Nikolskoye" oil pumping station in the Tambov region in the early hours of August 18. Moscow stated that the transformer station was restored in a short time.
Currently, only Hungary and Slovakia are purchasing Russian oil via the southern branch of the "Druzhba" pipeline. Oil supplies through the pipeline have been interrupted several times since the start of the war.
