According to the report, if the U.S. had not intervened, reaching an agreement between the parties would have been nearly impossible. According to the Deputy Prime Minister's words, Trump is a deserving nominee not only for his role in Cambodia but also for his other actions.
For reference, the clashes on the Thailand-Cambodia border began on July 24 and became the most intense fighting in over 10 years. As a result, 36 people and more than 20 civilians were killed. Over 200,000 people were evacuated from the border areas.
