Austrian billionaire and BASF chemical conglomerate heiress Marlene Engelhorn announced her plans to provide humanitarian aid to the Gaza sector. She shared this information on her Instagram page.
Engelhorn is known for previously distributing the 25 million euros she inherited for the benefit of society. Now, she is drawing attention to the situation in Gaza: "I am against genocide, apartheid, and illegal occupation. I am a supporter of a Free Palestine," she says.
In June, Greta Thunberg undertook a similar initiative to reach Gaza, but her "Freedom Flotilla" ship was intercepted by Israel.
