In the Bukhara region, Bukhara district, in the "Sheykhoncha" neighborhood, 2 people died as a result of an electric shock. The district prosecutor's office reported this to darakchi.uz.
The unfortunate incident occurred on the night of July 19. Workers of a bakery belonging to an individual entrepreneur in the "Sheykhoncha" neighborhood attempted to relocate a handmade ladder. While trying to lift the ladder, it came into contact with a high-voltage power line at a height of 3.5 meters, resulting in 4 men being electrocuted. Two of them died at the scene due to severe injuries. The other two were hospitalized with injuries. The identities of the victims are known to the editorial office.
Regarding the incident, the bodies of the deceased citizens underwent forensic examination, and a court-ordered medical examination was appointed for those hospitalized.
The investigative group under the Bukhara district DIA initiated a criminal case under Article 257, Part 2, Clause "a" of the Criminal Code (Violation of labor protection rules), and preliminary investigative actions are being carried out.
