Yesterday, after the match between “Dinamo” and “Nasaf” clubs in the 15th round of the Super League, a confrontation arose among football fans. At this time, screenshots were spread showing Sarvar Bobonazarov, a press service employee of the “Nasaf” club, using insulting words against fans from Andijan and Samarkand on social media.
This incident attracted the attention of the wider public, after which the “Nasaf” football club issued an official statement. It was emphasized that Sarvar Bobonazarov, who is currently on leave, did not participate in yesterday's match and did not perform his service duties.
The club statement says:
“Sarvar Bobonazarov used unacceptable expressions about the fans of the teams on his personal social media page. These personal opinions do not reflect the position of the club. ‘Nasaf’ football club condemns any form of discrimination and insult”.
The club has held a critical meeting concerning this situation and terminated the employment contract with Sarvar Bobonazarov for grossly violating the code of conduct. Moreover, an official apology has been made for the inconvenience caused to the public.
