As reported, the employees of the Anti-Smuggling Department of the Syrdarya region customs administration, in collaboration with the State Security Service regional administration, the Gulistan city Department of Internal Affairs, and the National Guard, during the special operation "Controlled delivery" conducted in the Akaltyn district, arrested a citizen R.A. who had agreed to sell for 69,000 US dollars and had already received 20,000 US dollars in advance, with physical evidence by the participants of the operation.
During the operation, a total of 38 items were seized from the citizen, specifically: 11 pieces of gold jewelry, 12 gold watches for men and women, and 15 pieces of diamond jewelry as physical evidence.
The preliminary valuation of the items amounts to 892 million Uzbek soms.
