United States leader Donald Trump might visit China in the fall with American company leaders. This was reported by “Bloomberg” based on sources
As the publication states, representatives of the American administration have contacted some company leaders to find out if they are interested in accompanying the White House head on a possible trip to China in 2025.
One of the proposed dates is at the end of October, during the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit in the Republic of Korea and the Southeast Asian Nations Association summit in Malaysia. The American President usually attends both events.
The agency recalls that Trump made his first foreign trip – to the Persian Gulf countries – together with top leaders from the finance, technology, and manufacturing sectors.
The President announced new billion-dollar deals covering energy, artificial intelligence, chips, aerospace, and other sectors, which demonstrated the corporate power of the United States.
When asked for a comment, administration press secretary Caroline Levitt said that a visit to China is not currently planned. The Trade Department has declined to comment.
