The main purpose of the visit was to expand export opportunities through the Karachi port for Uzbek products and brands to enter international markets, improve logistics conditions, and develop new partnership mechanisms.

Karachi port is Pakistan's largest sea port and a key logistics hub in South Asia. It facilitates the shipment of millions of tonnes of cargo to markets in Europe, America, Asia, and Africa. For this reason, the port holds significant strategic importance for Uzbekistan.

During the visit, the Uzbek delegation met with the port administration and logistics companies, obtaining detailed information about infrastructure, customs, transit, and cargo transportation procedures. The port authorities emphasized that all conditions for receiving and reloading Uzbek products are in place.

The negotiations proposed the creation of a special warehouse area in the port for Uzbek goods. This initiative:

facilitates temporary storage and shipment of products,

simplifies transit processes,

reduces logistics costs,

and accelerates entry into international markets.

The port authorities expressed high interest in textiles, fruits and vegetables, leather, chemical products, and construction materials, noting their competitiveness in the international market.

Furthermore, entrepreneurs were provided with information about container parks, digital customs, and cargo tracking systems.

The visit to the Karachi port was a crucial step in strengthening economic relations between the two countries and in opening new export routes for Uzbek products. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry announced the commencement of practical efforts in this direction.
