A woman gave birth at a bus stop in the southeastern district of Karaganda, Kazakhstan. The woman and the newborn were taken to a medical facility.

As reported, news about a woman giving birth at the "TBS" bus stop in Karaganda spread on social media.

It turned out that the unexpected birth occurred at noon, while the woman was waiting for a bus. According to witnesses, the onset of labor was very sudden. Therefore, the woman was forced to deliver her child at the bus stop because she could not make it to the maternity hospital in time.

People around called for an ambulance, and the woman and her child were hospitalized.

“Thanks to the assistance provided, the woman and her baby were admitted to the perinatal center of the Regional Clinical Hospital. The condition of the mother is stable. The baby is in intensive care, in critical condition, because it was born prematurely, at 34 weeks of pregnancy,” the report says.
