The leader of Russia expressed his readiness to start negotiations with the president of Ukraine. This was reported by the "DW" news agency.
"It doesn't matter to us who leads the negotiations, even if it is the leader of the current regime. I am even ready to meet, but only if it is some sort of final stage, where we sit down not to discuss endless matters but to put a full stop," - says the President of Russia.
Furthermore, Putin added doubt to the credibility of President Vladimir Zelensky by emphasizing the importance of whom from Ukraine side "signs the documents".
“The negotiation groups of the two countries remain in contact and plan to hold a new round after June 22,” - adds the Russian leader
He also expressed his willingness to talk if Chancellor Friedrich Merz of Germany wishes to make a call.
