The government decision (No. 365, dated 14.06.2025) approved the regulation “About the procedure for involving certain categories of students in extracurricular education in public general secondary education institutions”. The Ministry of Justice reported this.

The regulation defines the procedure for involving certain categories of students in additional education and covering 80 percent of the teaching expenses from the State Budget in public general secondary education institutions.

Certain categories of students include children from families listed in the Registry of Low-Income Families who are receiving education at public general secondary education institutions.

Students are involved in clubs on a voluntary basis.

Contracts between the students' parents and educational institutions are made through the Single Portal of Interactive State Services (my.gov.uz).

The amount of payment for services provided by educational institutions for one student per club per month does not exceed the following amounts:

For students aged 7-11, for additional education after school (extended day groups), it is equal to 1 Basic Calculation Value (BCV);

For students aged 12-18, for general education subjects, and for students aged 15-18, for foreign language clubs, it is 2 times the BCV;

For students aged 15-18, for information technology and vocational direction clubs, it is 4 times the BCV.

80 percent of the club payment is covered by the State Budget, and 20 percent is paid by the student's parents.
