Iran executed a citizen, Ismail Fikri, accused of spying for Israel's intelligence service — "Mossad" for its benefit. This was reported by Iranian mass media reported.
According to the reports, Fikri established contact with "Mossad" agents and handed over secret information considered state secrets. He was arrested in December 2024 and executed this morning.
It is noted that this case marks the third execution in recent weeks in Iran for charges of spying for the benefit of Israel. Two other individuals were also convicted of similar charges and have been executed.
