In the period from January to April 2025, a total of 2.1 million citizens of Uzbekistan traveled abroad for tourism purposes.
According to the data from the National Statistics Committee as reported, this indicator increased by 404.5 thousand people or 23.6 percent compared to the same period last year.
In the period from January to April of the current year, the travel purposes of Uzbekistan citizens who went abroad are as follows:
visiting relatives – 1.7 million people;
tourism – 399.1 thousand people;
treatment – 15.2 thousand people;
study – 9.9 thousand people;
business trips – 4.7 thousand people.
