Employees of the Interpol National Central Bureau of Uzbekistan, under their supervision, two female citizens who were internationally wanted were brought from the city of Muscat to Tashkent. This was reported by the Interpol Bureau of Uzbekistan.
As a result of extensive operational-search activities and effective information exchange with foreign partners, the whereabouts of two female citizens who were internationally wanted were identified in the territory of the Sultanate of Oman, and they were detained.
On May 23 of this year, their extradition was carried out by the employees of the Interpol National Central Bureau of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Both women were wanted for fraud and human trafficking.
In order to carry out the extradition process for the individuals wanted in connection with fraud, a surveillance team departed to the city of Muscat in the Sultanate of Oman. During the meeting with representatives of the Interpol National Central Bureau in Muscat, it was revealed that another female criminal suspected of being involved in human trafficking, and sought internationally by law enforcement agencies of Uzbekistan, was detained. An agreement for simplified extradition was reached as a result of the meeting.
Thus, as a result of established cooperative relations and bilateral efforts, the individuals sought were handed over to the employees of the Interpol National Central Bureau in the Republic of Uzbekistan for bringing them to justice and imposing appropriate penalties.
