President Shavkat Mirziyoyev criticized the fact that over the past 4 months, industry in Payaryk decreased by almost 2 times, and in Pakhtachi - by 38 percent, resulting in a decrease in production by 210 billion soums. This was discussed today, May 26, at a videoconference meeting chaired by the head of state on priority tasks for the development of local industry.
At the meeting, it was noted that with the timely and complete resolution of issues in the vertical system "republic - industry - region - district" in terms of industry, exports, and revenue, it is possible to achieve another 2 percent growth in industry.
It was also revealed that Tashkent's industry lost 1.1 percent growth due to underproduction of 300 billion soums worth of products in Sergeli and Yashnabad, which account for one-third of the capital's industry.
Due to the fact that 25 regional enterprises in Urtachirchik, Kibray, Parkent, Akhangaran districts, and the cities of Angren and Bekabad produced 1 trillion soums less products than last year, $30 million in exports were lost.
Or the districts of Karshi, Mirishkor, Bulungur, Dangara, Uzbekistan, and Khiva, which saw industrial growth in January-March, sharply reduced their indicators by April.
In this regard, it was instructed to assign specific responsible persons from the republic within three days and send them to the regions to promptly resolve each issue on the "republic - industry - region - district" vertical.
He was warned that the system's officials will be held strictly accountable if the problem is not resolved in the vertical link.
