Starting from July 1, medical personnel in family clinics will work only on a full-time basis.

• Republic of Karakalpakstan, Chimboy district;
• Andijan region, Asaka district;
• Bukhara region, Gijduvan district;
• Jizzakh region, Gallaorol district;
• Kashkadarya region, Kitab district;
• Navoiy region, Khatirchi district;
• Namangan region, Chortoq district;
• Samarkand region, the city of Samarkand, and Bulungur and Ishtikhon districts;
• Surkhandarya region, Denov district;
• Sirdarya region, Sirdarya district;
• Tashkent region, Yangiyul city;
• Fergana region, Quva district;
• Khorezm region, Shovot district.

From January 1, 2026, this pilot project will be implemented in all districts (cities) of the Samarkand region.

Within the scope of the pilot project:

• medical workers in family clinics will work only full-time;
• the population is given the right to freely choose a family doctor;
• district (city) health departments will be established based on district (city) medical associations;
• family clinics will provide family healthcare services, including family doctor, pediatrician, obstetrician-gynecologist, and diagnostic services specialists, as well as outsourced dental services;
• mobile medical services will be organized for the population living more than 10 kilometers away from a family clinic.

Additionally, medical services within the guaranteed volume of medical care covered by state budget funds will be provided free of charge based on the referral of a family doctor or a medical team (emergency and urgent medical care are exceptions).

Additional medical assistance not included in the guaranteed package and medical assistance provided to citizens who apply directly without the referral of a family doctor or a medical team will be provided on a paid basis.
