The head of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan, mufti Nuriddin Kholiqnazarov, chaired a video selector meeting attended by group leaders for the “Hajj – 2025” season, focusing on services for pilgrims.
At the beginning of the event, the mufti congratulated the group leaders on their appointment to this responsible position, informing that this year 14 senior leaders, 303 group leaders, as well as working groups, doctors, and cooks were involved to serve the pilgrims.
The mufti emphasized the importance for the group leaders and team heads to properly explain the rites of Hajj, be informed about new jurisprudential issues, and convey crucial fatwas announced by the Fatwa center to the pilgrims.
During the meeting, information was provided about the launch of a special Call center and Telegram bot designed for pilgrims, the presentation of special badges in the city of Medina, and the necessity for them to be constantly worn.
“A person who assists someone performing the Hajj pilgrimage, making their burden lighter, will achieve great rewards and blessings, God willing. For this reason, each group leader should aim for such noble levels and sincerely serve the guests of Rahman to the extent pleasing to Him,” says Nuriddin Kholiqnazarov.
The meeting discussed the activities of working groups in Mecca and Medina, the conditions being created for visitors' worship, flight schedules, hotel preparations, and the state of places in Mina, Arafat, and Muzdalifah.
Additionally, the deputy head of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan, Obidjon Qodirov, and the head of the Doctors' group, Alisher Saatov, provided important recommendations on organizational tasks, medical services, documentation, collective discipline, security, and awareness.
