An "electrician" who took $4,600 from citizens in exchange for installing a transformer was detained in Andijan.

He introduced himself to the people by saying he works at an electric network company.

The Department under the Prosecutor General's Office, together with the State Security Service (DXX) and the Ministry of Internal Affairs (IIB) employees of the Andijan region, carried out a rapid operation.

In the conducted operation, citizen N.A. was arrested with physical evidence when he took 4,600 US dollars from citizen H.O., supposedly for employing him in an electric network company, for installing a high-voltage transformer and formalizing documents to improve the electrical supply of 9 households in the "Ayshakhonim" Makhalla (neighborhood) of Oltinkol district.

Currently, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 168 (fraud) of the Criminal Code, and investigative actions are underway.
