The acting head of the Qo'rgontepa district health association and the head of the personnel department in Andijan region were detained. The Department under the Prosecutor General's Office reported this.
In a rapid response operation carried out by the collaboration of the Department's Qo'rgontepa district division and officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the head of the personnel department of the district health association, N.Kh., was detained while receiving $500 from citizen Kh.M. for resolving the matter of Kh.M.'s recruitment into this medical association. Based on his testimony, the operation continued, and the acting head of the Qo'rgontepa district health association, Ya.A., was caught red-handed in his office receiving $500 from the head of the personnel department for hiring citizen Kh.M. into the infectious diseases department.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 210 of the Criminal Code (bribery) regarding these incidents, and investigative actions are being carried out.
