The Law signed by the President (No. ЎРҚ-984, dated October 28, 2024) introduced amendments and additions to certain codes. This was reported by the Ministry of Justice.
According to the Law, additions are being made to the Criminal Code concerning illegal mining of minerals, specifying criminal liability for repeatedly committing such actions after administrative punishment has been applied, as well as for mining minerals without a permit using gold prospecting methods.
In addition, amendments are being made to the Code of Administrative Responsibility regarding taking possession of land plots arbitrarily, carrying out construction works on arbitrarily seized land plots, and committing violations related to the land allocation process, providing the internal affairs bodies with the necessary powers to draw up administrative protocols against individuals who have committed these offenses.
The Law comes into force from the day it is officially published.
