In the Kokdala district of the Kashkadarya region, meat unfit for consumption was stopped. The Department for Combating Economic Crimes under the Prosecutor General's Office reported this.
It is noted that a rapid response operation was conducted at the "Umakay" traffic police post in collaboration with traffic police officers by the Department's Kokdala district division.
During the operation, when inspecting a "Cobalt" brand vehicle that was moving in the "Karshi-Samarkand" direction, it was found that citizen J.C. was transporting cattle meat that did not meet safety requirements, intending to distribute it, resulting in a total of 400 kg. of meat being seized as physical evidence.
On this matter, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 186 of the Criminal Code (the intention to produce, store, transport, or distribute goods that do not meet safety requirements, perform works, or provide services) and investigative actions are being conducted.
