The Ministry of Justice reports on this matter. According to the decision, a vertical system based on the “republic – region – district” principle will be established for working with industrial enterprises in districts and cities.
For the purpose of targeted work with industrial enterprises in the regions, the following will be established:
in districts and cities, regional headquarters including the first deputy of the city mayor (hokim), leaders of tax and statistics authorities, banks, and economic infrastructure enterprises;
- a Republic headquarters coordinating the activities of the regional headquarters, led by the Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance.
From September 1, 2024:
- Industrial Development Consolidated Departments, consisting of 5 staff units, will be established within the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regional departments, and the Tashkent city economy and finance chief departments;
- The position of chief specialist in industrial development will be introduced in the economy and finance departments of districts (cities).
