In January-June of the current year, the average monthly nominal salary in Uzbekistan reached 5 million 92 thousand soms. According to the press service of the Statistics Agency reported.
This indicator was 4 million 337 thousand soms in the corresponding period of 2023.
It is reported that during the half-year, the highest indicators of the average monthly nominal calculated salary by regions were observed in the city of Tashkent (8.4 million soms), Navoiy (6.6 million soms), Tashkent (4.9 million soms), Andijan (4.4 million soms) regions and the Republic of Karakalpakstan (4.2 million soms).
Over six months, the highest rates of growth in the average monthly nominal calculated salary by regions were observed in the city of Tashkent (20.2 percent), Samarkand (18.2 percent), Andijan (17.6 percent), Fergana (16.8 percent) and Navoiy (16.2 percent) regions.
Average monthly salaries by types of economic activity are as follows:
• banking, insurance, leasing, credit and brokerage activities — 14.4 million soms;
• information and communication — 12.4 million soms;
• transportation and storage — 7.7 million soms;
• industry — 6.2 million soms;
• trade — 5.9 million soms;
• construction — 5.4 million soms;
• accommodation and food services — 4.6 million soms;
• education — 3.5 million soms;
• healthcare and social services — 3.3 million soms.
