It is known that for the debt to be written off, the account must have an amount exceeding at least 3 BHM (1 million 236 thousand soums).

For reference, as of January 1, 2026, the total loan portfolio of Uzbekistan's banking system at the end of the year amounted to 604 trillion soums. 

This indicator is equivalent to approximately 50.3 billion US dollars. Over the course of one year, the loan portfolio of commercial banks increased by 70.9 trillion soums or by 13 percent.
