Iran's new supreme leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, is currently in an unconscious state and unable to make independent decisions. The Times publication, citing information from US and Israeli intelligence services, Zamon.uz is reporting this.

It is reported that Mojtaba Khamenei is currently undergoing treatment in the city of Qom and cannot participate in government decisions.

According to the report, this is the first disclosed information about Khamenei's whereabouts since the start of the US and Israeli military operation. However, US and Israeli intelligence had already known where Mojtaba Khamenei was.

It is speculated that Mojtaba Khamenei was seriously wounded as a result of the initial strikes on February 28 and has not appeared in public since then.

So far, Iranian officials have neither confirmed nor denied this report.

The diplomatic note also mentions that preparations are underway to bury Iran's former supreme leader, the late Ali Khamenei, in the city of Qom.
