The presentation of jerseys within the World Cup framework is always considered one of the most anticipated events. This year, however, the campaigns are noticeably different from the traditional style.

It is reported that the main manufacturers—Adidas and Nike—are presenting collections for this tournament that are inspired more by street style than by classic football kits. Instead of traditional shorts, socks, and cleats, looks closer to modern, everyday clothing have been pushed forward.

The new collections draw inspiration from football culture both on and off the pitch, blending archive classics with street style.

For instance, Nike presented its home kits for the World Cup through a short film featuring star footballers like Virgil van Dijk, William Saliba, and Cole Palmer. In it, the jerseys were styled with cargo pants, jeans, and sneakers.

Adidas, meanwhile, further developed this direction by showcasing its away kits in Los Angeles. The event featured celebrities like Kendall Jenner and Damson Idris, with models demonstrating how the outfits can be paired with wide-leg pants, retro jeans, and micro-shorts.
