A 27-year-old woman, suspecting another woman of having an affair with her husband, forcibly took her to a secluded place and had her hair cut off. Five individuals have been detained in connection with the incident.
A video depicting humiliating and cruel acts against a woman in the Andijan region spread on social networks, causing public outrage.
According to investigations carried out by the internal affairs bodies of Andijan region, a woman born in 1991, suspecting that a woman born in 1998 was having an affair with her husband, planned to take revenge on her.
It is reported that on December 23, 2025, she summoned the woman born in 1998 to the hospital where she was receiving treatment through acquaintances, subjected her to various illegal acts of humiliation, and had the process recorded on video.
After that, the suspect called two male acquaintances and ordered them to take the victim to a secluded place and shave her head. As a result, the woman was forcibly put into a car by five individuals, taken to a remote area in Andijan district, and her hair was shaved off using clippers.
According to investigative information, this incident was recorded on video and later distributed on social networks.
Regarding the incident, a criminal case has been initiated under Part 2, paragraph "v" of Article 137 of the Criminal Code. The five suspects have been detained in accordance with procedural rules. Investigative actions are ongoing.
