A court verdict has been issued regarding the cases of sexual violence committed in Angren city in the summer of 2025. Supreme Court press secretary Aziz Obidov reported this.
During the trial, four individuals born in 2003–2006 were found guilty of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old S.Ya. They were sentenced according to Articles 118 and 119 of the Criminal Code.
According to the verdict:
— S.K. — sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment;
— Z.U. — 12 years;
— D.O. — 10.5 years;
— A.U. — 7.5 years.
The case was considered in a closed court session in the first instance. The parties have the right to appeal to the Tashkent Regional Court with an appeal or cassation complaint in accordance with the procedure established by law.
According to information, the girl's poisoning became known in July 2025, and due to the severity of her condition and the lack of appropriate specialists at the Angren Children's Hospital, it was necessary to send the girl to Tashkent and contact law enforcement agencies. Furthermore, the situation was taken under the supervision of the Children's Ombudsman.
