On February 28, the government's Decree No. 72 was adopted. According to it, on March 13-14 of this year, a nationwide public charity hashar will be held across the entire republic under the slogan "The prosperity of the Homeland begins first and foremost from the mahalla!"

Within the framework of the hashar, it is planned to carry out improvement works in mahallas, residential areas, boulevards, recreation parks, pilgrimage sites, cemeteries, and other territories. The nationwide hashar coincides with Friday and Saturday.

For reference, in accordance with the 2018 resolution "On additional measures to abolish forced labor in the Republic of Uzbekistan," hashar can only be conducted if there is a corresponding decree of the President or a government decision. Hashars organized by state bodies and other organizations are based on the principle of voluntariness.
