According to the Agency for Waste Management and Development of the Circular Economy, as of February 5, the total amount of debt for waste services across the republic amounted to 108.9 billion soums. Due to this, 1,174,686 subscribers were notified via SMS message through the 2100 short number of "Regional Power Grids" JSC.

Subscribers were given a 5-day period to repay the debt, during which payments of 12.7 billion soums were made. However, due to the remaining unpaid debt of 15.8 billion soums, electricity payments for 198,858 subscribers have now been restricted.

According to the Agency, restrictions will be lifted immediately once the debt is settled. In accordance with legislation, information about debtors is transmitted from the "Clean Space" billing system to the system of "Regional Power Grids" JSC by the 3rd day of each month. This procedure applies to debts formed after July 1, 2025.
