According to the Karmaskalinsky District Court, the man, while intoxicated, argued with his partner, took a skewer used for cooking shashlik, and struck the woman in the chest area. He then fled the scene.
During the trial, the defendant did not fully admit his guilt, stating only that he "wanted to scare" his partner. The court, also taking into account his previous unserved sentence, sentenced him to 7.5 years of deprivation of liberty. The sentence will be served in a special regime colony.
Earlier, it was reported that in Osh, Kyrgyzstan, an intoxicated man also beat and stabbed his wife.
